Suzuki Bots Threaten to Call 911 On Reporter

Fascists…

The Good Doctor Will Not See You Now « Eye on the Hill.

David Suzuki didn’t just refuse to speak to us. He refused to appear altogether, sending a handful of hostile event organizers to remove us from the premises. They would, eventually, but not before creating a real drama in front of a real audience that exposed the real nature of David Suzuki.
After much debate and my reiterating I would be staying to ask a question, one of the event-organizers-turned-Suzuki-mandated-attack-dogs turned to the sizable crowd, incensed that I wouldn’t leave quietly, and yelled for someone to call 911 – help!  A reporter is trying to do her job!

Elizabeth May shows some class…

Great Moments In Big Government Health Care

Pay attention Americans…

A decade of pain: The only foot surgeon in Nova Scotia has waiting list 3,500 names long | Canada | News | National Post.

Wendy Berringer’s feet are killing her. They hurt when she stands, when she walks and when she sits, which is what she was doing Tuesday, in her favourite rocking chair in her Halifax home, telling me about her bunions, a tiny broken bone in her left foot and her creaking left ankle, which cracks and groans and aches, causing her all manner of grief.

“I had my first appointment with my family doctor for my feet in 2002,” she says. “The original problem was my bunions. They rub in your shoes and you can’t walk properly. They are very sore. My family doctor made me an appointment to see a foot surgeon in Halifax to get the problem fixed.

“That was 11 years ago.”

The real story here is – 7,670 of Saskatchewan’s 767,000 taxfilers who earned over $175,600. There aren’t enough “rich” people…

Sask.’s Richest Paying More Taxes.

Based on recently released Statistics Canada data, the “one per cent” – or 7,670 of Saskatchewan’s 767,000 taxfilers who earned over $175,600 – earned an average of $349,700 and paid an average of $108,800 in federal and provincial income taxes in 2010.

In other words, the “one per cent” earned 8.6 per cent of the province’s aggregate income, but paid nearly twice that percentage – 16.8 per cent – in provincial and federal income taxes. Putting it another way, the average one percenter earned roughly 10 times what the average 99 percenter did ($350,000 versus $37,600), but paid roughly 20 times the amount of tax ($110,000 versus $5,500).

If I didn’t hate the media so much I’d be embarrassed for them…

Politico’s VandeHei and Allen: Why We’re Obama’s Lapdogs.

Politico’s Jim VandeHei and Mike Allen (VandeAllen) must have recently woke up feeling a little dirty about themselves and their chosen profession. Maybe it was due to Obama not leaving any money on the dresser this weekend. Whatever the motivation, it is fun to read their long, rambling rationalization for why they, their awful publication, and the media as a whole have spent the last four years willingly assuming the position of Obama’s footstool.

For Target Practice With All The New Ammo?

Another sign the US Government is growing increasingly more fearful of its own people…

Is Your Local Police Department Using Pictures of Pregnant Women and Children for Target Practice?

For less than 99 cents per target, police officers can now shoot at real-life images “designed to give [them] the experience of dealing with deadly force shooting scenarios with subjects that are not the norm during training,” according to Law Enforcement Targets, Inc.’s website.

The company calls it the “No More Hesitation” series:
