The Denver Post has managed the amazing feat of criticizing Rush Limbaugh for supposedly calling for riots at this summer’s Democrat convention in Denver while completely downplaying the role of the very organization calling for recreating 68 and all the problems of Chicago ‘68 that implies… NewsBusters

Personally I don’t think the young radical of today has the guts to recreate anything close to the ‘68 Chicago Riots.

  1. There is no young radical today. Today’s lefties have no clue what it was like in 1968. They have no clue how florid the revolutionary rhetoric was and how strongly the movement swept so many of us then young, stupid idiots up into it. The rhetoric is still out there, but it’s completely void of context and meaning. It’s just bland repetition of old memes. That’s probably a good thing. Even though it is annoying, no one is blowing things up and advocating violence like they were back then.
