What, no Human Rights lawyers to stop the action ? No UN funded political action teams ? No Gay & Lesbian Rights Activists around ?

Quel domage as they say in Paris

    What’s the crime? Drawing cartoons?

It wasn’t that many years ago that the same thing was happening in Britain (1868) and in the States (1936).
I know that in Britain you could even buy dolls hanging from miniature gallows to give to your kids as souvenirs of the event.

Gruesome but not exactly as old fashioned as you might have thought.

I linked to this from SDA ….. I see no one had any desire to comment here so far….
Is this actually the scene and setting?

    In any case it’s sobering.

  8. on August 7, 2007 at 10:21 pm Faramin

How dare you! As I serve as a shining demonstration, all Iranians are compassionate humans, to be held above all other lesser beings!

The child in the picture is obviously a Jew, just as the victim is equally obviously a falsely accused as terrorist Palestinian supporter of Hamas. The democratically elected Hamas party is in power as a force for Peace!

    Death to the Jews!

Remember, Iran is a peaceful nation.

I will let Faramin’s idiotic comment stand as another example of what we are dealing with. Good job asshole.

no no !!!!!!please dont say that. i am an iranian girl but i’v never seen such scenes.no.please say the truth. iran is a very good place and has frienly people.

  13. on May 1, 2008 at 11:18 am normal human

This way of hanging in iran by a rope which is used for hanging clothes is terribly cruel and evil. The normal way of hanging is in which the neck breaks immediately so the prisoner doesnt face asphyxiation which these sadist iranians do to there unfortunate petty criminals. May God guide them.Ameen.

  14. on May 5, 2008 at 5:58 am Summer

The girl is not a jew and the writing is not hebrew, it’s english you nongheads. Iranians, muslims and christians, and buddhists and hindus, and atheist etc etc, like the jews are sensible, are compassionate and are human. Did you know that Iran has one of the biggest Jewish populations in the middle east, hold seats in government, have hospitals, synogues and play an integral role in Iranian society. Sure there are hiccups in this society, which are minor in regards to the hiccups of other ‘so-called developed and democratic’ countries, but they are moving forward and getting to know better, thus do better. Don;t let these picture fool you, let them disturb you but not blind you to the real criminals of the world – the demons within.

He assasinated a judge in iran. Its not like he didnt do anything. Beliv. I know Iran does some weird shit, but this was acctually a legit reason

  16. on July 2, 2008 at 3:02 am nat

the judge was a corrupt killer of many people, and this man and another were both concidered heroes by most regular iranians.

  17. on July 25, 2008 at 11:59 am Keith

That’s how we should do killers, and rapist here in the United States.

We should hang them like that.

  18. on July 27, 2008 at 4:52 am Heba

This man was hanged for killing a judge who was involved in some kind of massacre in the 80′s. he’s not a rapist. Iranians suck. Islam is not like that. idiot ‘shiite’heads.Thank God im not living in that stupid yet powerful country. I dont want Iranians to take over the Middle East :’( Who takes children to hangings MY GOD!
