Muslim Canadian Congress Blames Bush, Blair, and Harper

June 3, 2006

According to a statement on the Muslim Canadian Congress website "Muslim Canadians are in a state of shock to learn that young members of their community would contemplate carrying our terror attacks on fellow citizens. "Thank God these men were stopped before they could carry out their alleged plot," said Niaz Salimi, President of the MCC"

But reading futhur aloong you will find this: (Click for pdf)

Commenting on the news of the alleged terror cell, El-Farouk Khaki, Secretary General
of the MCC said, the disclosure of this terror cell is a sad reflection of the fact that five
years of the so called War on Terrorism has failed in all its objectives and has brought
terror to our very doorsteps. "Canadians need to wake up and realise the recipe offered
by George Bush and Tony Blair, and now being adopted by Stephen Harper, has only led
to an increase of terrorism fuelled by the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan.”
he added.
The MCC is determined to fight the extremists at all levels, while maintaining its resolve to
expose the agenda of the United States and neo-liberalism.
Tarek Fatah, communications director of the MCC said, “It is ironical that Muslim
extremists are portraying themselves as anti-imperialist, when in fact Al-Qaeda and the
Taliban are nothing more but a creation of the CIA
.”
Ok I get it . These men were allegedly planning a terrorist attack with 3 tonnes of explosive fertilizer, but it is our fault. Bush , Blair, Harper, and the war on terrorism. We did this. We did this to ourselves. Bloody neo-liberalism, I knew that was a mistake.

  1. It’s always someone else’s fault.

  2. Perhaps they’ve been advised by their legal counsel Rocco Galati to say these things.

  3. Obtrusive Iraqi Liberation = OIL

  4. It was only a matter of time before a closer look at the violent insanity in the Middle East came visiting. Regardless of the society in which they are raised, some people will take up notions destructive to their neighbours.
When the U.S. can threaten to use atomics on a country a third of the way around the world on a trumped-up pretext of controlling nuclear proliferation at the same time they savage past treaties, any nation co-operating with the New World Order is at risk of unrest. Reports from Denmark, Germany, Britain, Australia, etc. contribute news of restrictions on access to information on the part of the population and spying initiatives by authorities. Plus gag orders on reporting infringements of civil liberties.
The terrorists may be nuts but the state is worse.

  5. Why doesn’t this statement surprise me? Muslims don’t seem to want to solve their own problems, they’d much rather sit around and blame the US, Bush, the Jews etc.

Exactly! oh, now that someone finally made a move in Canada, now you give a shit. People certainly sing a different tune once something happens or trys to happen in their backyard.

All these muslim groups should police up their radicals and be done with all this mess but the reality is they will just wait to see what happens and just back the winner, whoever it may be…

  7. They’re nut cases.

But so are the stupid men and women of our armed forces who slaughter innocent Iraqis.

You thought haditha was a one time event? Think again. Tens or hundreds of Hadithas have happened but you never hear of it, and it’s hard to prove when the US army does its best to make the evidence disappear in the fog of battle.

The problem here is that revenge is a universal principle, especially in the Arab world.

However, people in general do not take such suicidal risk without a reason. Be it the Palestanian-Israeli conflict or America’s medling in the middle east for power and religion.

    :)

I really don’t know what’s going to happen (if you do then let me know) People have to calm the f*ck down.

  8. Religion is crap.

When will people learn to live together in harmony?

  9. Oh, and crap is religion, too. It’s one and the same.

To be honest, they need to clam the fuck down and learn to live in peace but lately we’ve been acting in ways that I would say are stupid. You can’t beat the “other side” by being equally stupid. Killing innocent women and children is equally stupid! if not more, since we’re supposed to be the ones who are blessed with enlightenment.

  10. I can’t understand why you people never go to the depth of things to truly understand them.

The Muslims said, and very truly so, that “the Taliban and Al-Qaeda are nothing but creations of the CIA.” There is no doubt about that. Irrefutable.

The news story said those terrorists-to-be were inspired by and/or connected to Al-Qaeda.

It can be inferred that the CIA created those terrorist organizations which are now attracting other terrorists to fight against the ‘West’; resultantly, it is the CIA’s fault, not the few militant Muslims’.

Plz understand this before bashing at someone irreasonably.

  11. The comments of Evolvingtrends, MyScribbles, and Opit are pathetic.
First Opit. Sideways reference to a conspiracy theory “New World Order” and misunderstanding of nuclear deterence indicating a complete lack of understanding of history or mis-identification with the enemy. Opit blows the infringement of rights out of proportion and then equivocates it with the threat posed by people who will saw off your head and carry signs that say, “death to unbelievers.” The ignorance of these people is shocking.

Evolving trends takes an allegation and then blows it up into 10’s of thousands of deaths without a shred of proof. Nice trick. I guess it clearly identifies which side you are on and your standards of debate.

And then MyScribbles who says that it’s the CIA’s fault. By his reasoning the USSR was also our fault as we saved them during WWII. Of course we did this to halt a more threatening evil, the Nazi’s. MyScribbles would like a simple world where there are never any tough choices. Instead he will bend over backward to say that everything is the fault of the US Government. The muslims never did anything wrong and would have been peacful shepards had it not been for the evil US teaching them how to throw out the Soviet incursion. Yes, it’s clearly all our fault. You define the word “simpleton”

The “left” is a self destructive lot. I have seen no ideas from them on how to handle an issue. Just a lot of idealistic, dreamworld BS, combined with rock throwing against those trying to solve a problem.

  12. I did not say tens of thousands of deaths. Misquoting me only proves your standards of debates.

Plus I’m not one to take sides.

People want me to take their side. I can resist.

    :)

I’m on my own side. And that can be described as peace and prosperity for all. Not for one side against the other.

  13. OK, strike 10’s of thousands and make it thousands. Either way your case is beyond dubious. If there are 100 Hadithas that would generally be around 2,400 casualties. Left wing blogosphere generally throws out what a bunch of war criminals we are and uses the 10’s of thousands of numbers. My mistake in misreading the # of Hadithas

Ever been in the military. Familiar with the character and motivation of the members. Ever seen how a soldier/marine reacts to women and children over seas? I have. It is not generally a group of blood thirsty savage killers. Exceptions do happen. But your world view does not fit with my real world experience. I’m certain attrocities are commited and I’m sure many more honest mistakes are made. But if you think you are the victim of a massive cover up carried out by men and women in the armed forces you are sadly deluded. The mentality does not fit in the organization.

Feel free not to take a side. You have that priveledge because others have the courage to do so and have done so since our founding. Enjoy your status as a sheltered, inconsequential, and misguided citizen of the greatest country on earth. Exercise your rights for good or ill as you see fit. Be ungrateful, self centered, eutopic and ignorant and I will continue to make sure you can continue your pathetic existence.
