On Tuesday, May 29, 1453, the armies of the Ottoman Sultan Mehmet II entered Constantinople, breaking through the defenses of a vastly outnumbered and indomitably courageous Byzantine force. Historian Steven Runciman notes what happened next: the Muslim soldiers “slew everyone that they met in the streets, men, women, and children without discrimination. The blood ran in rivers down the steep streets from the heights of Petra toward the Golden Horn. But soon the lust for slaughter was assuaged. The soldiers realized that captives and precious objects would bring them greater profit.” (The Fall of Constantinople 1453, Cambridge University Press, 1965, p. 145.)

How is that a feminist can support a sex selection abortion that primarily targets females? Is the abortion rights issue so important that the abortion industry would align itself with paternalistic Asian cultures that treat females as trash to be terminated or abandoned? Communists Deny The Past, Plan New Genocide

I ran into this post over at Dean Esmay. Kevin Sites is interviewing Maoist stooge Sharad Singh-Bhandari from Nepal. Its obvious that these communists are in denial about the hundred or so million already dead because of communism in the 20th century.

SITES: So you’re saying that the middle class, the educated and businesspeople don’t have anything to fear from your potential participation in a new government?

SINGH-BHANDARI: No one should fear — not the middle class, not the higher class, not even capitalists — just the feudals. What we are trying to bring is the new system that will bring security for all, even the middle class and capitalists. Security for everyone.

SITES: By feudals, who are you referring to?

SINGH-BHANDARI: In context to Nepal, this deals with the monarchy and powers associated with that.

SITES: How will you deal with the monarchists in the advent of real democracy in Nepal?

SINGH-BHANDARI: We will do what the Nepalese people demand and what our party requires, although that hasn’t been determined yet.

The question for these communist shitheads should be a little more direct. “How many people have to die so that you can have your Maoist utopia? Just give us a number. How many do you have to kill so that you can get your way?

As I write this, early on Thursday morning, Bob Cesca is the featured blogger and “Only on HuffPost” lead, with his entry: Bob Cesca: Fox News Trying To “Literally Encourage White Power”…

It certainly caught my eye, I must say. Now to be honest, I hadn’t a clue who Bob Cesca was. And I was only checking the Huff Post because my daughter has started a new charity and is blogging about it there, and I wanted to see how she was doing. Even so, it made me mad.

Encourage White Power? Be serious. I haven’t met anyone in my going-on-seven-years at Fox News who I would describe as racist, and with the immigration debate raging, that isn’t a term to be thrown around lightly.

Enough is enough. What gives people who have never worked a day in the news business the right to throw stones and call names with impunity, because Fox News is the target?

I’ve taken a lot of heat from the left for working for Fox News, and frankly, I’m a little bit sick of it. The truth is that I’ve been very well treated at Fox: I say what I want; I’m treated with respect; and I’m paid well.

My answer is very simple. Unlike Mr. Cesca, I not only have worked for every network, I also worked, formally or informally, for every Democratic candidate to run for president in the 1980’s and 1990’s.
